Our club is led by a passionate team dedicated to celebrating Spanish language and culture. They're all about bringing our members together to explore the richness of the Spanish-speaking world, while having fun and learning along the way. Whether you're looking to learn Spanish, dive into cultural traditions, or just be part of an awesome community, we got you covered!

Ethan is a trilingual high school student passionate about language access, cultural exchange, and inclusive education. He founded My Spanish Club to provide free, high-quality academic resources in both Spanish and English. As the lead writer, editor, and site developer, Ethan manages all content creation, updates, and technical aspects of the platform. A native speaker of Spanish and French, he combines his love of language with his experience as a tutor, translator, and researcher to make learning accessible to students from all backgrounds.

In addition to his work with My Spanish Club, Ethan is an award-winning writer, earning first prize for Spanish prose in Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica’s Albricias magazine. He serves as a TED translator and transcriber, making global ideas accessible to Spanish-speaking audiences. Ethan also conducts research at both UC Irvine’s Language Acquisition Lab and UCLA’s Vascular Surgery Department, where he applies his academic interests in real-world settings. He is an active volunteer, tutoring ESL students and advocating for the power of language and cultural understanding to positively impact education.

Ethan Mills is a 16-year-old senior at Corona del Mar High School with a deep connection to his Puerto Rican roots. Proud of his heritage, he has embraced his culture from a young age, shaped by frequent visits to the island and a love for its language, food, music, and community. 

His connection to the ocean began in Puerto Rico, where he first learned to surf. Since then, he’s become a dedicated surfer and water polo player, training and competing since the age of nine.

To strengthen his language skills and connect more deeply with his heritage, Ethan joined My Spanish Club. Now serving as Vice President, he helps coordinate events, support daily operations, and lead efforts to promote bilingual educational resources. Through My Spanish Club, he continues to celebrate and share the richness of Hispanic culture.

Grant brings a strong sense of community and responsibility to his role as Treasurer. He manages the club’s finances to ensure its continued growth, fostering a space where students from all backgrounds can access valuable educational resources.
